This place is a hidden gem! My son is obsessed with trains so of course I had to find every train that exists within a 50 mile radius of our home. A bonus - there's a Little Farm nearby to explore (still within Tilden Regional Park but about a 13 minute drive)!

  • Winter may close early at nightfall

  • Weather permitting, usually still operates if just sprinkling

• PRICE | free! bring your own celery and lettuce to feed the animals. do not try to feed them anything other than celery and lettuce

• PARKING | parking lot on site, there's also a little fenced off playground next to it

  • there are plenty of grassy areas so you can bring a blanket and have a picnic!
